Bengaluru: Muslim Organisations Hold Key Meeting with Minority Welfare Leaders to Discuss Community Issues

Bengaluru, January 30, 2026: Representatives from state-level Muslim organisations met with Karnataka’s Minority Welfare Minister, MLAs, and MLCs in a significant closed-door discussion at Azad Bhavan to deliberate on pressing challenges faced by the Muslim community and explore possible solutions.

The meeting focused on key issues including education, employment opportunities, land rights, Waqf property management, and protection of minority rights. Participants also reviewed the implementation of existing government welfare schemes for minorities and highlighted gaps and challenges in their execution.

Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Naseer Ahmed led the discussions. Among those present were MLC Abdul Jabbar, MLA Kaneez Fatima, MLA Asif Raju Sait, MLC Saleem Ahmed, retired officer L.K. Atheek, Mustak Hennabail, Zameer Ahmed Rashadi and leaders from various Muslim unions and community organisations.
