Kundapura, March 21, 2026: Kandlur Dastageer Saheb, renowned for his selfless contributions to the educational, social, and religious sectors and his humble political life, has been selected for the prestigious ‘Karnataka Sarvabhouma Award-2026’. The award is presented by the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Narayana Gowda faction).

The decision was taken unanimously during a meeting chaired by the Udupi District President of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, A. R. Prabhakar Poojary. Dastageer Saheb, hailing from Kandlur in Kundapura Taluk, was chosen for his long-standing commitment to community welfare.

In his acceptance speech, Dastageer Saheb expressed his gratitude, stating, “This award from a prominent Kannada organization has significantly increased my responsibility. Having been an active volunteer of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike in Shivamogga and Bengaluru since my youth, this recognition motivates me further to serve the people. I pledge to work tirelessly for the organization and the welfare of Kannadigas.”
