Gangolli, March 28, 2026: Under the ‘Drishti Pra(dana)’ Project 2026-27, a Free Eye Check-up and Surgery Camp has been organized in Gangolli. The initiative is a joint effort by the Udupi District Blindness Control Division, District Health and Family Welfare Department, Gangolli Gram Panchayat, Primary Health Centre Gangolli, Parvathi Mahabala Shetty Charitable Trust (Muddumane, Shiroor), and Sri Narayana Guru Janaseva Balaga (Reg.), Gangolli.

The camp will be held tomorrow, Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the S.V. Higher Primary School, Gangolli. Patients diagnosed with cataracts during the screening will be provided free stitch-less Intraocular Lens (IOL) surgery by a team of specialist doctors at the Parvathi Mahabala Shetty Memorial Eye Hospital in Muddumane, Udupi.

The organizers have announced that patients undergoing surgery will be provided with free food, accommodation, and transportation facilities.
