Gangolli, January 27, 2026: In a major step towards citizen convenience and improved tax compliance, Gangolli Gram Panchayat has launched a doorstep tax collection system using QR scanners, enabling residents to pay property tax, building tax, and drinking water charges directly from home without visiting the panchayat office.
The initiative allows villagers to settle dues for converted land (bhūparivartita bhūmi), building tax, and monthly drinking water charges through a simple scan-and-pay process. The panchayat has appealed to all taxpayers to verify their dues and make timely payments to support village development works.

Special Tax Collection Camp on January 28 A special tax collection drive will be organised on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the residence courtyard of Moulana Abdul Aziz in the 11th Ward. All responsible residents are requested to attend, clear pending dues for buildings, houses, and monthly drinking water charges, and actively support village progress.
