Gangolli, January 31, 2026: Writer Narendra S. Gangolli’s sixth literary work, ‘Avaḷa Niṭṭusiru’ (Her Sigh), published by Bengaluru’s Jayaram Publications, was formally released on Friday at Saraswati Vidyalaya Pre-University College.

The event was jointly organised by S.V. Commerce Club and Sanjeeva Parvati Prakashana, Gangolli. College Principal Kavitha M.C. presided over the function. Hindi lecturer Narayan E. Naik released the book and offered his best wishes.

Laboratory Assistant Vijayakumar N. spoke on the occasion, appreciating the author’s contribution. The programme featured simple yet meaningful speeches and reflections on the new collection.

‘Avaḷa Niṭṭusiru’ is a compilation of 50 diverse writings by Narendra S. Gangolli. The author has previously earned recognition in Kannada literature through his earlier works such as ‘Helade Hoda Magalige’, ‘Naayi Naanu’, and ‘Nibhruta’. The new book brings together his varied prose pieces, showcasing his continued engagement with literature and storytelling.

Student representatives Aditya S. Poojari, Abhijna Kharvi, and Ayesha Nifa assisted during the event. Narendra S. Gangolli expressed heartfelt thanks to all students, faculty members, and friends who helped make the simple and beautiful programme successful.
