Gangolli, September 7, 2025: The Kalashree Shikshana Premigala Balaga and Rotary Club of Gangolli jointly organized a Teachers’ Day celebration on September 5, 2025, at Ambedkar Sabhabhavana, Mel Gangolli, to honor educators for their remarkable contributions to society. The event was a tribute to the pivotal role teachers play in shaping young minds and fostering community development.
During the ceremony, several distinguished educators and contributors were felicitated, including Narendra S. Gangolli, a lecturer at Gangolli Saraswati Vidyalaya Pre-University College; J. Vishwanath Bhat, retired headmaster of Saraswati Vidyalaya Higher Primary School; Gururaj Acharya, headmaster of Government Lower Primary School; Yogesh, assistant teacher; Philomena Fernandes, president of the Udupi District Anganwadi Workers and Assistants Association; Anganwadi workers Rekha and Sahana; and Shakuntala Kharvi and Mookambu, Akshara Dasoha workers. The honors recognized their dedication and exemplary service in the field of education.
The event was presided over by Krishna Pujari, President of the Rotary Club. Ishwar Gangolli, convener of Kalashree Shikshana Premigala Balaga, delivered good wishes.
