Following instructions from the Chief Minister, Karnataka DG-IGP Dr. M.A. Saleem has ordered the setting up of specialized “Rowdy Squads” at circle and station levels. The units will enforce a zero-tolerance approach, using stringent acts like KCOCA and the Goonda Act to curb criminal networks.
