Bengaluru, June 04, 2026: In a significant move to clear long-pending traffic violation cases, the Karnataka government has announced a 50% discount on traffic fines. This decision aims to assist motorists who have been struggling to pay off accumulated penalties.

Key Details of the Offer:

Validity: Motorists can avail of this discount for a period of 20 days, starting from June 21 to July 10.
Eligible Cases: The rebate applies to traffic e-challan cases registered before May 2026 under the Police Department and long-pending transport department cases from 1991 to 2022.

Payment Options: To ensure a hassle-free experience, the government has enabled several payment gateways. Citizens can pay the discounted fines through official digital platforms such as the Astram App, KSPS App, or by visiting Karnataka One centers across the state. A similar successful drive was conducted in November last year to clear pending arrears.
