Tragedy at Kundapura Gopadi Cherki Beach: Two Bengaluru Youths Drown, One Missing
On September 7, 2025, four Bengaluru youths were swept away by strong currents at Gopadi Cherki Beach, Kundapur. Two drowned, one was rescued in critical condition, and one remains missing. Divers Ishwar Malpe, Nagaraj Puthran, and Dinesh Kharvi recovered two bodies, with search efforts ongoing.
