Kundapura, April 24, 2026: Kundapura block has delivered an impressive performance in the SSLC Examination-1 results announced on Thursday, securing the second position in Udupi district with a pass percentage of 98.59%. A total of 28 schools in the block have achieved 100% results, showcasing the region’s academic excellence.

Out of the 2,747 students who appeared for the exam, including 1,450 boys and 1,297 girls, a total of 2,708 students successfully passed. The successful candidates include 1,421 boys and 1,287 girls, indicating a strong performance across both genders.

Government schools that achieved a 100% pass rate include the High School section of Government PU College Kundapura, Government High Schools in Albadi, Kedur, Kandlur, Vakwadi, Halady, Kalavara, and Koni. Other notable mentions include KPS Bidkalkatte and residential schools such as Morarji Desai Koteshwara, Indira Gandhi Siddapura, and Ambedkar Shankaranarayana.

Among the aided and private institutions, St. Joseph’s, Stella Maris Gangolli, St. Mary’s Kundapura, Anjuman English Medium Gangolli, St. Pius Hangalur, and Holy Rosary Kundapura registered perfect scores. Additionally, schools like S.V. Gangolli, Venkataramana Kundapura, Mother Theresa Shankaranarayana, and Sanskriti Siddapura also joined the list of top achievers.

Further academic success was noted from Excellent Sunnari, Sharada Basrur, Dual Star Amasebailu, Srirama Vidya Kendra Kodi, and Vidyaranya English Medium School Yadadi-Matyadi, all of which achieved 100% results. This year’s statistics reflect a high standard of education within the Kundapura block.
