Kundapura, February 27, 2026: The MBA Department of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MIT) is set to organize ‘Yuva Parampara’, a state-level inter-collegiate management and cultural fest, on February 28. Addressing a press conference, MIT Principal Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde stated that this is the fifth edition of the fest, and over 30 degree colleges from across the state are expected to participate.

The event will be inaugurated at 9:30 AM by the Minister for Fisheries, Ports, and Inland Transport, Mankala S. Vaidya. Noted film actor Prakash Tuminad will be the chief guest, while Siddhartha J. Shetty, head of IMJ Educational Institutions, will preside over the ceremony. The organizers have announced a total prize pool exceeding ₹1 lakh for the participants.

According to Dr. Suchitra Poojary, Head of the MBA Department, the fest is divided into two segments. The Management category includes events like Best Manager, Marketing, Mock Press, and Business India. The Cultural segment, themed ‘Vikas Bharat’, will feature group dance, drama, fashion shows, and group singing. Winners in the cultural category stand to win cash prizes of ₹35,000 for first place and ₹25,000 for the runner-up position. Administrative Head Kiran Shetty and Student Coordinator Shambhavi were also present at the briefing.
