Malpe: Massive Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Organised at Coastal Police Port on February 5

Udupi, February 3, 2026: A large-scale voluntary blood donation camp will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2026, starting at 9:30 AM at the office premises of the Coastal Police Superintendent in Malpe Port.

The camp is being jointly organised by the Fisheries Department Udupi, Blood Bank District Hospital Udupi, Blood Bank KMC Manipal, Coastal Police, Malpe Fishermen Association (R), Malpe Port Cooperative Workers Association, Kanni Party Fishermen Association Malpe, Sea MC2, Canara Bank, and all other unions and organisations in Malpe Port.

The initiative aims to encourage voluntary blood donation among fishermen, port workers, police personnel, and local residents to strengthen the blood supply for emergency medical needs in the coastal region. The camp will provide a convenient location for donors from the fishing and maritime community to contribute.

All eligible individuals are invited to participate and support this humanitarian effort. The organisers have appealed to the public to come forward in large numbers to make the camp a grand success.
