GANGOLLI: The Masjid Rahmani Committee of Rahmania Mohalla, Gangolli, celebrated the Annual Jalsa and Prize Distribution ceremony of Rahmani Maktab on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The event was marked by a series of educational, cultural, and spiritual sessions that drew a massive crowd from across the region.
Scholarly Insight & Community Guidance
The event was presided over by the Chief Guest, Maulana Abdul Subhan Sahib Nadvi Madani, Professor of Tafseer and Hadith at Dar-ul-Uloom Nadwat-ul-Ulema, Lucknow, and a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. In his keynote address, the Maulana urged parents to prioritize religious education. “Children are the future; instill faith in them through Maktabs. Do not let money distract you from humanity and truth,” he stated.
He also made a poignant plea to respect religious teachers, stating, “Teachers may live on modest salaries, but they are doing a great kindness to the community. To look down upon them is to weaken your own faith.” He further advised the attendees to prepare for the upcoming month of Ramadan and remain steadfast in their daily prayers and Zakat.
Cultural Showcase & Awards:
The students showcased their talents through various Islamic skits and educational performances, mentored by MC Maulana Ibrahim Shahabuddin.

Distinguished Guests:
The event was held under the chairmanship of Chief Guest Maulana Abdul Subhan Sahib Nadvi Madani (Dar-ul-Uloom Nadwat-ul-Ulema, Lucknow). A galaxy of prominent guests graced the stage, including Maulana Abdul Basit Kazi, Meera Shahabuddin, Abdul Kareem Nadvi, Mujahid Nakhuda, Abdul Sami MH, MH Touseef Maulana, Maulana Mohammed Ali Nadvi, Abdul Raziq Shahbuddin Nadvi, Tafheem MH, Maulana Abdul Bar Nadvi, Shahabuddin Rahmatullah, and Fazal MH.

Recognition of Excellence:
Several awards were distributed to honor academic and spiritual milestones:
- Islamic Exams: Toppers received prizes from Abdul Fatah MH.
- SSLC Achievers: Distinction students were felicitated by the ‘Rahmania Cricketers’.
- Hifz Milestones: Students who completed the memorization of the Quran were rewarded by Shoaib Saheb.
- Special Honor: Maulana Mohammed Raziq was felicitated for graduating from the prestigious Nadwa this year.
- Punctuality & Luck: Awards were given for highest attendance, and ten lucky coupon winners received surprise gifts.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Committee President Maulana Touseef, who expressed gratitude to the donors involved in the Masjid’s renovation and the event’s supporters. The evening ended with a moving soul-stirring prayer (Dua) by Maulana Subhan Nadvi.
