Kundapura, January 26, 2026 — The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at Kodi Bearys Group Educational Institutions with great patriotic spirit, combined with the 44th edition of the ongoing ‘Clean Beach – Green Kodi’ cleanliness and greening campaign.

Chief guest Sunita Poojary from the Border Security Force (BSF) hoisted the national flag. In her address, she said: “If there is self-confidence, everything can be achieved. The Republic is not determined by one soldier alone; it is possible only through the unity of all citizens of the country.”

Institution Trust Board member Dr. Asif Beary delivered the introductory remarks. Haji K. Mohideen Beary Memorial High School Headmaster Dr. Jaysheel Shetty administered the pledge of allegiance to the Constitution among the students.

The event was attended by Haji K.M. Abdul Rehman Beary (Chairman, Bearys Group Educational Institutions), Director Ashwini Shetty, Dean Academics Dr. Poornima T., Bearys D.Ed. and B.Ed. College Principal Dr. Firdous, Bearys First Grade College Principal Shabeena H., Kundapur City Municipal Council member Kamal, Kodi Chakreshwari Temple Dharmadarshi Gopal Poojari, various advisory board and school development committee chairpersons and members, heads of departments, teaching and non-teaching staff.
