Sagara, March 16, 2026: Aina Zoha, the five-month-old daughter of Toufiq and Alfiya from Sagara taluk, is battling fatal Leukaemia (blood cancer) and is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU at Narayana City Hospital, Bengaluru. Doctors have estimated that approximately ₹45 lakh is required for her treatment, a sum that is far beyond the reach of her humble family.

The couple, who waited six years to experience the joy of parenthood, is now devastated by their only daughter’s critical health condition. Toufiq, a daily wage labourer, is financially struggling to meet the medical expenses. In this hour of crisis, the family, along with the Karunya Nidhi Karnataka Charitable Trust (R), is appealing to the community and generous donors for financial assistance. People from all walks of life are being urged to contribute and help save the infant’s life.
