During the scuffle, Mahesh’s brother, Vasanth Naik, was stabbed to death. All seven accused, including Kamalakar and Suchitra, are currently in judicial custody for eight days.
Daughter’s Startling Revelations: Sumashree, Suchitra’s daughter, shared chilling details with the media:

- Threats to Life: Sumashree alleged that her mother and the astrologer threatened her life and pressured her to leave the house when she witnessed their behavior.
- The Reason for Attack: Sumashree stated that it was she who informed her father about the affair. This prompted the legal confrontation which eventually led the accused gang to attack her father and uncle.
