Gangolli, August 31, 2025: The Social Sports and Charitable Association (SSC) organized a Felicitation Ceremony and Motivational Program on Sunday evening at Madrasa Islahul Muslimeen Hall, Gangolli. The program commenced at 5:00 p.m. with a Qirat by Madha, followed by a Naat rendered by Nuha.

The event was presided over by Maulana Hajira, President of the SSC Women’s Wing, and attended by members of the Women’s Wing office bearers and members.

Chief Guest: Aysha Shaheeba

The highlight of the evening was the felicitation of Aysha Shaheeba, a Gangolli native and one of eight students from the MBA Department at Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru who cleared the UGC-NET (Ph.D.-Only category) — was honored for bringing pride to the college and the Gangolli community.

Daughter of Mohammed Saleem and Noorunnisa, Aysha completed her schooling at Touheed English Medium School and earned a B.Com in Accounting & Finance from Bhandarkars’ Arts & Science College, Kundapur. She currently completed her MBA in Finance at Sahyadri College and has published a research paper titled “Integrating E-Learning to Enhance Holistic Education in the 21st Century” in the Journal of IMIS (ProQuest indexed).

In her address, Aysha thanked her family and SSC for the recognition, described her study journey, and urged students to balance college studies with Islamic studies without compromising on either.
