Udupi, August 19, 2025: The Udupi District Amateur Athletic Association, in collaboration with the Udupi District Junior Athletic Meet, will host the Karnataka State Junior and Under-23 Athletics Meet from August 23 to 26, 2025, in Udupi. The event, aimed at promoting young athletic talent across the state, will feature competitions in various track and field events. On August 16, a delegation led by Karnataka State Amateur Athletic Association President met Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara in Bengaluru to formally invite him to the inauguration ceremony.

The delegation included C.A. Rajavelu, General Secretary of the Karnataka State Athletic Association, Umesh, Joint Secretary, and Hariprasad Rai, President of the Udupi District Amateur Athletic Association.
