Udupi, July 1: Udupi District BJP President Kutyaru Naveen Shetty stated that winning elections is not the sole objective of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Instead, the party aims to secure meaningful victories driven by core ideologies, foster a nation-first mindset through national integration, create a fear-free environment, and position India as a global leader under the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision.

He was speaking after executing the oath-taking ceremony and distributing appointment letters to the newly elected office-bearers of the BJP District Minority Morcha at the party’s district headquarters. Presided over by the District Minority Morcha President Rudolf D’Souza, the convention highlighted the importance of strengthening organizational roots. Addressing the gathering, Naveen Shetty urged the members of the Minority Morcha to actively publicize the central government’s historic developmental achievements and welfare schemes implemented over the last 12 years.

He emphasized that these initiatives operate under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance philosophy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.’ Shetty also commended the local chapter for organizing a state-level live screening of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, which brought together religious leaders, reverend sisters (Dharma Bhaginiyar), and community elders, earning praise at both state and national levels. He noted that such exemplary programs should continue regularly to propagate national values everywhere.

During the event, BJP District General Secretary Shrikant Nayak detailed the organizational meetings, responsibilities of office-bearers, and structural matters, stating that serving the public as a BJP worker under the leadership of world leader Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a matter of immense pride. Adding to this, the former State Secretary of the Minority Morcha, Salim Ambagilu, noted that the minority community has received substantial benefits, resources, and institutional representation under the BJP administration. He requested the community to support the party’s development-centric agenda. Following this, the office-bearers of the Morcha shared their perspectives and insights.

The event was attended by Morcha General Secretaries Sheikh Asif Katapadi, Mohammad Afsar Uchila, alongside other office-bearers and executive committee members. BJP District Secretary Shivakumar Ambalapady rendered a song. Morcha Vice President Chiranjeevi Jain welcomed the gathering, Treasurer Glen Monis compered the program, and Vice President Michael D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks.
