Gangolli, January 30, 2026: As part of Republic Day celebrations, the Kundapur Taluk Unit of Udupi Jilla Muslim Okkoota organised a special lecture programme at Anjuman English Medium School in Gangolli.

The event was presided over by Taluk President S. Dastageer Kandlur. The national flag was hoisted, followed by an insightful lecture by litterateur and Karnataka Rajyotsava Award recipient Mustaq Hennabail on the topic “Rights and Duties in the Indian Constitution.”

School Honorary President Maulana Ibrahim Gangolli and President Mujahid Nakhuda Gangolli addressed the gathering. Udupi Jilla Muslim Okkoota President Muhammad Maula read the Preamble of the Constitution and administered the pledge to the students. A student from the school who secured the highest marks in last year’s SSLC examination was felicitated.

The programme was attended by District Senior Vice-President Muhammad Rafiq Gangolli, District Secretary Zafrullah Hoode, District Organising Secretary Maulana Zameer Ahmed Rashadi, Taluk Secretary Riyaz Kodi, District Committee members Mujawar Abu Muhammad Kundapur, Rehan Trasi, Muneer Kandlur, Gangolli Gram Panchayat Vice-President Tabrez, school office-bearers, teachers, and students.
