Due to continuous heavy rainfall, Udupi District Collector has declared a holiday on August 28, 2025, for all anganwadis, government, aided, and private primary and high schools, ITIs, and pre-university colleges across the district as a precautionary measure. Degree, postgraduate, diploma, and engineering colleges remain operational.
