UDUPI: Expressing deep concerns over a recent press note issued through the Sri Govardhana Giri Trust, Shashidhar Bhat and the members of the Neelavara Gograsa Seva Team have issued a detailed clarification, strongly denying the ongoing negative propaganda and character assassination directed against them.

Issuing a formal clarification, Shashidhar Bhat from Gundibailu stated, “The Neelavara Gograsa Seva Team is a voluntary group driven solely by the principle of ‘Goseva Paramo Dharmah’. Our team was formed with the noble intention of inspiring the public towards cattle welfare, guiding those who wish to serve at the Neelavara and Kodavoor Goshalas, and arranging necessary infrastructure for managing the shelters. Before launching our activities, we approached Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math and took his divine blessings. All our outreach and support programs have been executed with his explicit consent, and comprehensive details of our activities are being updated to him periodically.“

“Every single financial transaction and operational cost handled by our team is documented with absolute financial accountability, and the entire amount is utilized strictly for cattle care. Collected funds are spent only towards buying necessary fodder, oilcakes, feeding vessels, and related essentials. All remaining balances have already been duly transferred into the official bank account of the Sri Govardhana Giri Trust. Recognizing our self-less services, cattle lovers and the general public have extended immense appreciation and began supporting us directly. However, unable to digest this development, certain vested interests are deliberately spreading malicious rumors to tarnish our image. They have targeted me and my team with personal abuse and unnecessarily dragged the name of a business firm in which I am a partner, solely to damage our market reputation,” Bhat added.

Reiterating their commitment, Shashidhar Bhat clarified, “Neither I nor the Gograsa Seva Team has ever committed any fraud, cheating, or betrayal against the Pejawar Math, the revered Pejawar Swamiji, or the Neelavara and Kodavoor Goshalas. Cow protection remains our ultimate motto, and we will continue this service as a form of worship to Lord Sri Krishna and Mukhyaprana Devaru. We are completely ready to present our dedication and financial transparency before any person or at any public platform at any given time.“
