Udupi: The Honnala Unit of the Karnataka State Sunni Students Federation (SSF) organized its 26th consecutive free notebook distribution ceremony for the students of the Government Urdu Higher Primary School at the school auditorium.

Speaking as the chief guest, SSF Kundapura Division President Sultan Hashimi stated that education is the foundation for societal development and providing necessary educational facilities to students is everyone’s responsibility. He noted that SSF’s continuous service for the past 26 years in rural areas serves as a model for other organizations.

Another chief guest, Asha Kiran N., a Resource Person from the Brahmavara Zone, remarked that such assistance helps generate greater interest in education among rural students.

During the event, free notebooks were distributed to all students of the school. Additionally, two ceiling fans needed for the school were donated by the SSF unit.

Old Students Association President B.S. Abdul Shukoor, Ustad Taufiq Amani, Ashraf Ustad from Kundapura, School Headmaster Roby Pinto, Retired Headmaster Imam Saheb Tankasali, Former In-charge Headmistress Jayalakshmi, SSF Udupi Division President Imtiaz Santoshnagar, Khadimi Jamia Masjid General Secretary Maulana Khattab, and Old Students Association General Secretary J. Mushtaq Ahmed were present and wished the students well.

The program was presided over by Mohammad Shehraj, President of the SSF Honnala Unit. SSF Honnala unit members B.S. Sehran, Saad Ali, Muzammil, Rihan, Arsalan, Siraj, School Chief Minister Mohammad Rushan, teachers, and parents were also in attendance. Imtiaz Honnala, the newly elected SDMC President of the Government Urdu Higher Primary School, compered the program and proposed the vote of thanks.
