A legal dispute over ₹19 crore in compensation has stalled the NHAI’s rest area project at Hosadu. Consequently, truck drivers continue to park on the Trasi-Maravanthe beach stretch, increasing the risk of fatal accidents similar to the recent tragedy on April 29.
