Byndoor, September 24, 2025 – An unidentified vehicle struck and fled after hitting an unknown man on National Highway 66 near Bharat Petrol Pump in Yadtare village on the night of September 23, leading to the victim’s death the following morning despite medical efforts.

The vehicle, traveling from Uppunda towards Byndoor, rammed into the 30-35-year-old pedestrian who was walking on the road. The victim sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed on September 24 morning.

A case has been registered at Byndoor Police Station.
