Byndoor, May 08, 2026: The Byndoor police have successfully cracked a major theft case involving ₹6 lakh in cash and arrested one person in connection with the crime. The arrested individual has been identified as Mahendra Sain (23).

Background of the Case: The theft occurred on April 23 between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM at a rented house located behind the SBI bank in Yadthare village. The house belonged to Rawal Singh, a native of Rajasthan. Taking advantage of the residents’ absence, the culprit broke the front door lock and decamped with ₹6 lakh kept in a Godrej cupboard.

Investigation and Arrest: Following the registration of the case, a special police team was formed to track down the culprit. On May 7, the team apprehended Mahendra Sain. The accused is a resident of Jodhpur district in Rajasthan and was currently residing in Bankeshwara, Byndoor.

The police have recovered the entire stolen amount of ₹6 lakh from the accused.
