Doha, Qatar, January 29, 2026: The ‘Gangollian Cricket Get-Together’ organised by JMG–Qatar turned out to be a memorable success, held on the night of January 29, 2026, starting at 9:30 PM. The event brought together a large number of Gangolli expatriates living in Qatar for an evening of friendly sports, food, and togetherness.
The event featured friendly cricket matches in a round-robin format among four teams, followed by a lively Dinner party. Despite busy schedules, a large number of community members attended, making the programme a grand success and strengthening bonds among Gangolli natives living in Qatar.
The programme commenced with recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Alam Shahbudin. Zahid MH compered the event with grace and energy. JMG–Qatar President Akbar Hussain Saheb delivered the welcome address, introduced the gathering, and expressed heartfelt thanks to all attendees for their participation and support.

Special appreciation was extended to the core organising team — Alam Shahbudin, Zahid MH, Kifayatullah S., Abdul Muqsid S — and many others for their tireless efforts in planning and executing the event. President Akbar Hussain Saheb and Secretary thanked every individual who contributed time, energy, and resources.

The organisers specially acknowledged the enthusiastic participation of many community members including Mohsin Sikander Minam Nakhuda, Mafaz Sikandar, Jamal Kasma, Mazhar MH, Razin Mubarak, Hussainar G., Riyaz SF, Ismail, Irshad, Asees, Ashfaq, Hussain, Shabar, Taqrim, Zameer, Rashid Masni, Rahmatullah, Ayubu, Shariq Kazi, Hanif, Parvez, Alfaz, Shabaz, and many others who took time out of their busy lives to make the day special.
