Udupi, January 26, 2026 — The Republic Day celebrations were held with patriotic fervour at Salihath Educational Institution in Thonse-Hoode, Udupi.

Industrialist Amanullah Bengre, as chief guest, hoisted the national flag. Institution Vice-President Idris Hoode addressed the students, explaining the significance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

The event was attended by Institution Administrative Officer Aslam Haikady, PU College Principal Dr. Sabine, Degree College Principal Divya Pai, Academic Head Abdul Haseeb, Arabic College Principal Kulsoom Abubakar, Headmistresses Sunanda, Yasmin, and Shadat, among others.

Asir Maimuna welcomed the gathering. Mir Mujammil and Ayesha Sana compered the programme. Fatima Aania proposed the vote of thanks.
