Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – November 16, 2025: The Khidmah Foundation officially kicked off its much-anticipated Cricket Tournament with a glittering trophy launching ceremony held on Tuesday, 12 November 2025, at the compound of Fazlu Rahman Kolkar.

The two-day tournament, scheduled for 20 and 21 November 2025, will feature intense league and knockout matches among 12 participating teams from the community.

The event is being organised by the Khidmah Sports Organizing Committee, led by Mr. Shaheed and his dedicated team members Thouheed, Faisal, and Adil, who received widespread praise for their meticulous planning and execution of the launch ceremony.

General Secretary Ashraf Sheikh Koteshwar coordinated all arrangements, ensuring a smooth and memorable evening for players and guests.

The programme commenced with a soulful Qira’at recitation by Mohammed Ali Kolkar, followed by a warm welcome address from Nasrullah Shaikh, who extended heartfelt greetings to all players, officials, and attendees.

In his keynote address, Chairman Fazlu Rahman Kolkar highlighted the tournament’s noble objective of promoting cricket for a greater cause. He elaborated on the Khidmah Foundation’s ongoing community service initiatives and charitable activities across India, while emphasising the values of discipline, fair play, and sportsmanship that all participants must uphold.

MCA Secretary Haneef Ullal also addressed the gathering, reminding players to strictly adhere to the rules, maintain decorum on the field, and prioritise participation and enjoyment over mere victory.

The ceremony was skilfully anchored by Mohammed Muzakkir.

On stage were Vice President Jawaad Basrur, Shaheed, Nasrullah Shaikh, Chairman Fazlu Rahman Kolkar, and MCA Secretary Haneef Ullal.

A large number of Khidmah Foundation members turned out in full force, offering their unwavering support to make the launch a resounding success.

During the technical session, Shahid delivered a detailed presentation of the team fixtures, match schedule, and tournament rules, using an engaging wheel-spin format that added excitement to the proceedings.

The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Naveed Kundapur, who expressed deep gratitude to all participants, organisers, and the audience for their enthusiastic cooperation and commitment.

With the trophy now unveiled and fixtures announced, anticipation is building for what promises to be a thrilling display of cricketing talent and community spirit on 20–21 November 2025.
