Karwar, April 24, 2026: The technical discrepancy in the SSLC result of Lieza Khanam, a student of Sirsi Union High School, has been successfully resolved following the intervention of local leaders and education officials.

When the results were announced on Thursday, Lieza’s marks card erroneously marked her as ‘absent’ for the Social Science exam. This caused significant distress to the student and her family as she had performed well in all subjects.

Taking the matter seriously, Sirsi MLA Bhimanna T. Naik contacted School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa over the phone and urged him to rectify the error immediately. Upon the Minister’s direction, the examination board verified the records and corrected the technical glitch within 24 hours.

Academic Achievement: With the updated marks card, Lieza Khanam has emerged as a top achiever with an overall percentage of 96.48%. Her subject-wise scores are:
