Sirsi, August 21, 2025 – The Hubli Electricity Supply Company (HESCOM) has scheduled a power outage across the Sirsi sub-division on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM to undertake maintenance work in preparation for the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The outage will affect both urban and rural areas under the sub-division’s jurisdiction.

Affected Areas:

• Sirsi City: The entire city, excluding K.H.B. Colony, Kasturbanagar, and Vivekanandanagar, will experience a power cut.
• Rural Feeders: Areas served by the 110/11 kV substation, including Banavasi, Sugavi, Devanahalli, Chipagi, Marigadde, Kengre, Vanalli, Hulekal, Salkani, Sampakhand, and Taragod, will have no electricity.
• Isloor and Banavasi Feeders: Rural-1 feeder areas such as Isloor, Dasanakoppa, and Bankanala, as well as Banavasi feeder areas including Tigani, Andagi, Bhashi, and Bachagaon, will also face power disruptions.

HESCOM has stated that if maintenance work is completed earlier than anticipated, power supply may be restored before the scheduled 6:00 PM cutoff. The company has requested public cooperation during this period to ensure smooth execution of the maintenance activities.
