Manipal, April 13, 2026: The T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), celebrated its 40th Annual Convocation on April 11 at KMC Greens, Manipal.

Graduation Details: A total of 521 students received their degrees this year. The breakdown includes:

MBA (Core): 348 students
Banking: 56 students
Marketing: 50 students
Human Resources (HRM): 44 students
International Business (IB): 23 students

Address by Distinguished Guests: Chief Guest Arundhati Bhattacharya (Chairperson & CEO, Salesforce South Asia) delivered the convocation address, stating that MAHE is shaping competent young leaders capable of handling global complexities with clarity and empathy. She urged the youth to lead with intelligence and purpose.

Guest of Honour Karthik Y. (CEO, Page Industries and TAPMI Alumnus of 2007-09) encouraged graduates to remain curious and maintain discipline, integrity, and respect for people to achieve lasting success.

MAHE Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh congratulated the graduates, highlighting the institution’s commitment to nurturing professionals with both skills and social responsibility.

Awards and Recognition:

T. A. Pai Young Achiever Award: Established to honor the centenary of MAHE founder Dr. T. A. Pai, this award (including a medal, certificate, and ₹2.50 lakh cash prize) was given to toppers: Rhythm Sharma (MBA), Riya (MBA-BKFS), Malavika Rajesh (MBA-HRM), Calvin D’Cunha (MBA-MKT), and Ananya Bansal (MBA-IB).
TAPMI Titan of the Year 2026: Awarded to Gursimran Singh Reen for overall excellence.
Dr. T. M. A. Pai Gold Medal: Awarded to Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan (Pro-VC, MAHE Bengaluru) for outstanding research. He was also recognized as India’s top researcher in accounting for 2025 by Brigham Young University.

Dignitaries Present: The ceremony was attended by Pro-VCs Dr. Sharath Rao, Dr. Dilip Nayak, Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, Registrar Dr. Giridhar Kini, and TAPMI Interim Director Dr. Durga Prasad, who presented the annual academic report.
