Doha, April 25, 2026: Subramanya Hebbagelu has officially taken charge as the President of Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) for the 2026-2028 term. Assuming the leadership of this prominent representative body for Kannadigas in Qatar, he promised to work tirelessly to infuse new energy and enthusiasm into the local Kannada community.

Accepting the leadership role, Subramanya Hebbagilu expressed that he takes on this responsibility with profound humility and a deep sense of commitment. He acknowledged the outstanding foundation laid by the outgoing President, Ravi Shetty, and the administrative committee of the 2024-2026 term, expressing his gratitude for their significant contributions to the organization’s growth.

He further paid tribute to the legacy of past presidents, including Satish Deshpande, Nagaraj, Prakash Babu, K. Prabhakar, Arvind Patil, Arun Kumar K.M., V.S. Mannangi, Deepak Shetty, H.K. Madhu, Venkat Rao, late Mairpadi Nagesh Rao, Sanjay Kudari, and Mahesh Gowda. He lauded the dedication of all committee members and community leaders who have tirelessly served the association over the years.
