  • Headings with allegations will identify the source.
  • We distinguish between fact, opinion, and analysis.
  • External sources used in reports will be credited.

3. Respect and Dignity

We treat all subjects of news coverage with respect and dignity, showing compassion for victims of crime or tragedy. Our reporting reflects integrity, avoiding conflicts of interest and respecting the intelligence of our audience.

4. Confidential Sources

We use confidential sources only when necessary to serve the public interest. The identity of sources at risk will be protected, upholding our obligation to maintain confidentiality.
